Faded Roses pattern
Faded Roses pattern
This listing is for a knitting pattern.
This romantic shawl was designed to make the most of gorgeous gradient yarns and softly speckled skeins. It would also be beautiful in a solid or tonal yarn as well.
I created a method of fading the gradient colors to create a smooth transition from skein to skein. I also offer a tip to carry the yarns while fading that results in fewer ends to weave in later. The lace is simple, yet delicately beautiful. The little bud design is just perfect for this shawl.
The shape of the shawl is an asymmetrical triangle. The body of the shawl is worked in garter stitch and is finished in the lovely lace.
The pattern has been tested and tech edited. The instructions are both written and charted.
